Mango‘s story is amazing. Two young guys, Isak and Nahman ANDIC arrived from Turkey to Spain when they are 14 years old. Isak traveled to Asia and went back with T shirts to sell them, with his brother in flea markets, twice the initial price . The idea worked and Isak started to make some clothes himself. They decided to call their business « Mango » , in memory of the fruit Isak tasted in the Philipines. First shop opened in 1984 in Barcelona, and nowadays Mango is present in 80 countries.

So they got the « mango » word fr my old country! wow/// I can agree to that, it’s one of my favorite fruits and actually had a hard time finding mango flavored icecream in United States! but Lo, when Im in Cali, i can eat any mangos I want! Thanks for the lovely comment on my post=)
