Do you believe in destiny?
This french girl, Marie, was a sign of destiny… I met her 2 years ago, in august 2008, in a plane Paris-NYC. Well, actually, I first saw her in CDG airport « what a Hippie! » I said to myself. We got into plane, and we were not next to each other. Due to a storm, we had to land near Boston during hours… People were moving in the plane from back to front, and began to speak with the strangers around them. Marie came to me; she wanted me to help her filling the very boring paper of US security. And we started to speak, she wasn’t the hippie I thought she was. We then realized that we were going to the very same school in Manhattan to attend some summer courses. We continued to speak and speak. We then discovered that during the past summer, we used the same organisation to go to a family in Atlanta… What a fucking small world. The plane finally took off again, and we landed one hour later in JFK. Marie and I shared a cab. And we spent 2 amazing weeks together.
The year after, in August 2009, she went back to NYC in the same school we were the year before. Lucky me, I was doing an internship in NYC at the same time. Again, we spent 2 amazing weeks together, meeting new people from everywhere, especially 2 guys : Giacomo from Milano and Andrea from Barcelona.
This year, last month, in September 2010, Marie went to visit me in Barcelona where I am currently doing another internship. And we saw again Andrea we met in NYC…
This is definitely destiny. Marie, I love you.
